Conference Venue

The conference will take place in the Historic Building of the University of Pardubice at Čs. legií square 565 (náměstí Čs. legií 565). The building has two entrances; to enter the conference, please use the corner entrance shown in the attached photo. The “Perspectives on Thinking” conference will be held on the 2nd floor of the building (please note that another conference will be taking place on the ground floor).

The conference venue is located approximately 1 km from the main train station. To get there from the main train station, you can take a trolleybus; the closest stops to the venue are Palackého (lines 3, 17, 30, 33) and 17. listopadu (line 3).

Parking near the conference venue is paid. Free parking is available on the university campus (at the dormitory accommodations), which is about 2 km away.

Dormitory Accommodations

We can arrange accommodations for participants in the university dormitories of the University of Pardubice for the duration of the conference. The accommodation options and prices are as follows:

• Single room in a shared suite with private bathroom: 789 Kč per person per night (including VAT and tourist tax)
• Double apartment: 689 CZK per person per night (including VAT and tourist tax)
• Double apartment occupied by only one person: 1,199 CZK per apartment per night (including VAT and tourist tax)

Participants are responsible for paying for their accommodation individually at the dormitory reception desk on the day of arrival; payment can be made by credit card or in cash (credit card payment is preferred). Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. On the day of departure, you must leave your room by 10:00 AM at the latest.

The central reception desk is located in Pavilion C of the university dormitories at Studentská 201.

The dormitories are located on the university campus, where you can park your car (if the parking lot is full, you can park nearby on Stavařov Street). The campus is located about 2 km from the conference venue. Near the campus are the trolleybus stops “Terminál univerzita” (lines 3, 7, 17, 33) and “Stavařov” (lines 3, 7, 17, 30, 33).

Meals

During the conference, beverages and light refreshments will be available during coffee breaks. On Thursday, we are offering the opportunity to join a group dinner at the U Bílého koníčka restaurant. On Friday, lunch will be provided directly at the conference venue, and an evening buffet will be held at Klub 29.

Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available.

Certificate of Attendance

If you wish, we can issue you a certificate of attendance for the conference. If you would like a certificate, please let us know in advance by email at perspektivy@flu.cas.cz—we will prepare it for you, and you will receive it on-site during registration or we will give it to you later during the conference.
